Bringing together two outstanding British ‘cellists for this unique event, Rebecca Gilliver and Sally Pendlebury have devised a delightful programme of duets, from this very special repertoire.

Rebecca Gilliver is the principle ‘cellist of the London Symphony Orchestra, and has performed with many other orchestras, chamber ensembles and as soloist with the Halle Orchestra and the Academy of St Martin in the Fields.

Sally Pendlebury is already a friend of Artists ‘n Residents, having brought her ensemble, The Fitzwilliam Quartet to us in October. As well as her extensive chamber music career, Sally is a regular guest principal cello with London Sinfonietta, Philharmonia, RPO, Royal Northern Sinfonia, ECO and BBC Philharmonic.

These two amazing ‘cellists are friends as well as colleagues – this is going to be fun.
